For anybody that knew Greg Eason five years ago, this statement from the man is nothing short of extraordinary: "I think you can beat a lot of players with smart golf.”
OK, not exactly groundbreaking philosophy. But consider that the 2010 version of Eason would likely have gagged at that thought.
The tall, burly Eason that stands before you now is a careful construction, meticulously crafted to be, in some ways, unrecognizable from the golfer that entered the UCF campus five years ago.
"(Heading into college), everything about Greg's game was really raw," said Bryce Wallor, the men's golf head coach at UCF.
