Former Match Play champs Poulter, Donald hoping to find form at Puerto Rico Open

RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico – Much like the man at the bar in Billy Joel’s epic “Piano Man,” Englishmen Ian Poulter and Luke Donald have made their way to the Puerto Rico Open at Coco Beach this week, even if for each, as the lyrics go, “there’s someplace that he’d rather be.”

Each man is a former champion of the WGC-Dell Match Play Championship, which got underway on Wednesday in Austin, Texas. Donald is ranked 92nd in the world, and he wants to play Puerto Rico to try to rediscover the momentum that has been lost in his game.
