The Forecaddie believes in the adage that living well is the best revenge and was reminded of this saying during a recent visit with Tom Weiskopf.
Weiskopf, 73, was among those passed by Johnny Miller when Miller stormed his way to the 1973 U.S. Open crown at Oakmont with a final-round 63. But Weiskopf doesn’t wallow in what might have been. He’s too busy with projects such as a significant renovation at Torrey Pines Golf Course, the popular 36-hole municipal layout and site of Weiskopf’s first PGA Tour triumph, the 1968 Andy Williams-San Diego Open Invitational.
