For U.S. Junior favorites, look to Wilson Furr, Davis Shore

There was never much of a doubt, but if anybody questioned the premier status of the U.S. Junior Amateur, the competitors were there to dispel those concerns.

“The tournament has got a cool vibe to it and the course is always in great shape,” Davis Shore said. “You feel like you’re playing a U.S. Open because the USGA runs it so well.”

The 68th U.S. Junior Amateur begins Monday at the Colleton River Plantation Club’s Pete Dye Course in Bluffton, S.C. Shore and 155 other players will get a shot at taking home junior golf’s most coveted title.
