Martin Flores staved off the Scarlet Course beast again, posting a second round 1-under 70 to take a one-shot lead midway through the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship.
The 33-year-old sits 5 under overall in Columbus, Ohio, good enough for a one-shot lead over four chasers.
"I was really happy with how I played. I got off to a good start, nine pars, which is not very good on most courses on the Web, but here it's a very solid start, Flores said. "You're going to make mistakes, it's just a very tough golf course, a good test.
