With less than two months before the end of the year, English golfer Matthew Fitzpatrick is currently inside the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking.
Fitzpatrick climbed two spots to 49th this week following his T-13 finish at the BMW Masters. He was one of two new additions to the top 50, joining fellow Englishman Ian Poulter, who was T-11 in Shanghai and also rose two spots, from 52nd to 50th.
The top 50 in the world rankings at the end of the year earn invites to the 2016 Masters. Unlike Poulter, who was T-6 last year at Augusta National, Fitzpatrick is not yet eligible for next year's first major.
