The semifinalists for the annual Ben Hogan Award have been announced. The award, presented to the top collegian at the NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA or NJCAA level, takes into account college and amateur performances in a 12-month period.
The 10 semifinalists on this year’s list represent 10 different universities. It’s the first time since 2005 that has happened.
The list will be furthere narrowed to three finalists on May 6, and those players will attend a black-tie banquet at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, on May 18, where the winner will be announced.
