American Kevin Kisner roasted the Seaside Course at Sea Island Golf Club on the weekend (64-64) to post 22 under par and win the RSM Classic for his first victory on the PGA Tour.
His 22 under destroyed the tournament record of 16 under set by Tommy Gainey in 2012. Kevin Chappell finished six shots behind in second and Graeme McDowell continued his hot play rounding out the podium one shot further back alone in third place.
After getting his first taste of the 54-hole lead last time out in Shanghai at the WGC-HSBC Champions and not closing the deal, Kisner proved that he's a quick learner by quickly and emphatically slamming the door shut on this Sunday for his inaugural victory.
