HARRISON, N.Y. – With the Solheim Cup a little more than three months away, it’s no surprise to see the Europeans heating up.
Suzann Pettersen’s victory last week at the Manulife LPGA Classic marked back-to-back LPGA victories for the Euros. Anna Nordqvist won the ShopRite Classic the week before that, beating fellow Euro Christel Boeljon by a shot.
The Euro double ended the continent’s 14-month victory drought in LPGA events.
“We Europeans, we obviously don't care about the year in between the Solheims,” Pettersen cracked. “We care more about the current year.
