ST. LEON-ROT, Germany – Caroline Hedwall might rank 117th in the world, but this week no one cares. The numbers that matter most when it comes to Hedwall are 7-1-1. That’s her Solheim Cup record, and it means the Swede is a threat each time she tees it up against the Americans.
“It's kind of like switching something on with her when it's match play,” European captain Carin Koch said.
“She's a dangerous one,” American Brittany Lincicome said.
Hedwall, 26, became the first player in Solheim Cup history to go 5-0 two years ago at Colorado Golf Club.
