Poulter teamed up with Danny Willett to beat Thongchai Jaidee and Byeong-Hun An, 3 and 2, while Lee Westwood and Matthew Fitzpatrick topped Anirban Lahiri and Ashun Wu, 5 and 4.
Europe leads 9-3 entering Sunday's singles matches at Glenmarie Golf and Country Club, and needs to just 3 1/2 points to secure the victory.
Kiradech Aphibarnrat and S.S.P. Chawrasia earn the only full point for Team Asia on Saturday.
