A course that has been a staple in USGA qualifying rounds and women's golf events, will be getting the best of both worlds in the near future.
El Caballero Country Club, a renowned layout in Tarzana, Calif., will host the 2018 U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship, the USGA announced on Thursday. The par-71, Robert Trent Jones Sr.-designed track, is less than 25 miles from Los Angeles and previously was home to the LPGA Tour's Office Depot Championship from 2002-2004. In addition to that, the course also hosted sectional qualifiers for the U.S. Open, U.S. Amateur and U.S. Senior Open.
