BLUFFTON, S.C. –– Chandler Eaton woke up this morning not feeling particularly good about his chances of making match play at the U.S. Junior Amateur.
After all, the Alpharetta, Ga., native opened with a 7-over 79 and then played his first five holes of the second round in 1 under before play was suspended Tuesday evening.
“I kind of woke up this morning and didn’t feel that great,” Eaton said. “But it kind of got me in the kind of attitude where it doesn’t really matter, just go play.”
Eaton arrived at Colleton River Plantation Club early Wednesday morning at 6 over.
