Golf Channel, East Lake Golf Club and the East Lake Foundation announced Wednesday the formation of the East Lake Cup, a new two-day, match-play college event that will feature the top four teams from both the men’s and women’s NCAA Championship.
The East Lake Cup will be held Nov. 1 and 2 at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta – site of the PGA Tour’s Tour Championship – and air live on Golf Channel.
The semifinalists of this year’s men’s and women’s NCAA Championship will receive invitations to the event. The women’s championship begins Friday at Concession Golf Club in Florida.
