Dustin Johnson Withdraws from Rio 2016 Olympics Golf Due to Zika Virus Concerns

The hits keep coming for golf at the Olympics, with Dustin Johnson becoming the latest player to withdraw from the Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro.

In a statement Friday, per Golfweek, Johnson cited the Zika virus as a concern and his reason for pulling out of next month's Olympics:

As an athlete, I can think of no greater honor than representing the United States in the Olympic Games. However, after much careful consideration and discussion with both my family and my team, I have made the decision to withdraw from the 2016 Olympic Games.
