EDISON, N.J. – In his eighth trip to the PGA Tour’s postseason, Luke Donald has a pretty good feel for how things normally play out in golf’s playoffs.
Asked on Saturday if he would ever consider skipping a playoff event, the Englishman said he would under the right circumstances, but it probably wouldn’t be The Barclays.
“I don’t know if I’d miss this one. I feel like this one is the most important one,” Donald said. “You have more people not making the cut and it just feels like if you have a good week this week, it just sets you up.
