Adidas Golf and Dustin Johnson on Thursday announced a new multiyear apparel and footwear deal. Terms were not disclosed.
Johnson, the 2016 U.S. Open champion, 2015-16 PGA Player of the Year and Vardon Trophy winner, will in 2017 begin his 10th year with Adidas.
“DJ’s scoring and legendary ball striking draw huge galleries and substantial television exposure, which are critical to the promotion of our apparel and footwear," said Jeff Lienhart, executive vice president of Adidas Golf. "We believe his U.S. Open championship is the first of many majors to come, which will make him an even bigger star.
