WOBURN, England – Bronte Law’s not doing too badly in the $3 million Ricoh Women’s British Open with a set of borrowed clubs. The 21-year-old amateur is 4 under and ensconced safely in the top 20 of the leaderboard.
Law can do no wrong right now.
“I could write some story,” Law admitted after a second consecutive 2-under 70.
Her story includes winning three times in her junior year at UCLA this past season; winning the ANNIKA Award Presented by 3M as the collegiate golfer of the year; becoming the first Great Britain & Ireland Curtis Cup player to win five points out of five to help GB&I win, gaining the winning point to help England win the European Team Championship and becoming only the third English player to win the European Amateur Championship.
