ORLANDO, Fla. – Well, it wasn’t quite like last year’s finish here, but Henrik Stenson still came up short in the final round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Lodge & Club.
Stenson started Sunday at 13 under, two shots back of eventual winner Jason Day, but quickly fell further back with a bogey on the par-3 second hole. Stenson would make two more bogeys – on his final five holes after having clawed his way back into contention with four birdies – as the Swede could not shake an unpredictable swing that he brought from the practice range to the first tee.
