PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – On Monday in Toledo, Ohio, Danah Bordner’s youngest daughter Reagan turned 1. Reagan went to town on a cupcake and then mom put her in her host family’s kitchen sink and sprayed her down.
“They’re like family,” said Bordner of the Rusk family, her longtime housing for the Marathon LPGA Classic. “It was really, really special to be there.”
Bordner, a put-together mother of two, is the opposite of today’s typical LPGA player. She turned professional at age 24, earned her LPGA card on her 30th birthday and joined the big leagues in 2011.
