SAN DIEGO - Jason Day will tee it up Thursday at the Farmers Insurance Open.
Questionable for the event because of the flu, Day arrived at Torrey Pines an hour before his tee time and went through a full warmup. The world No. 2 spent the past few days in bed and still didn't appear fully healthy, sounding hoarse, blowing his nose into a towel and walking gingerly.
Day is scheduled to tee off at 9:20 a.m local time on the easier North Course alongside Harris English and J.B. Holmes, two of the three players he defeated in a playoff last year.
