It’s been a big month for NCAA individual champion Bryson DeChambeau, who just completed his junior year at SMU. Most recently, DeChambeau was pegged as the Southern Golf Association’s top player in June.
After winning NCAA stroke play June 1 at the Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Fla., DeChambeau closed the college season as a First-Team All-American and at No. 10 in the season’s final Golfweek/Sagarin college ranking.
DeChambeau made consecutive PGA Tour starts in the following weeks, making the cut to finish 45th at the FedEx St. Jude Classic then advancing through sectional qualifying to earn a spot at the U.
