DeChambeau makes FedEx St. Jude Classic cut in Tour debut

Bryson DeChambeau made two double bogeys on Friday at the FedEx St. Jude Classic, but he was able to hold on for a 1-over 71 and make the cut in his PGA Tour debut.

DeChambeau, a rising senior at SMU and the NCAA individual champion, opened his day with two straight birdies after he started at No. 10 in the morning wave, but things got rocky at the 12th hole, where he found the water on his approach shot after hitting a fairway bunker off the tee and ended up with a double bogey. He would bounce back with a birdie at the 13th, but turned around and double bogeyed the par-3 14th.
