DeChambeau, Bard advance to U.S. Amateur final

OLYMPIA FIELDS, Ill. — Neither semifinal match at the U.S. Amateur went the distance or produced much drama Saturday morning, and now the final is set.

Bryson DeChambeau closed out Sean Crocker, the controversial USC sophomore, 4 and 3, to advance to the U.S. Amateur final for the first time. DeChambeau will face Virginia's Derek Bard, a 3-and-2 winner over Japan's Kenta Konishi.
