AKRON, Ohio – It’s been a pretty good summer for Ohio sports teams, and it’s a run that Jason Day hopes to continue this week at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.
The city of Cleveland recently celebrated its first championship in 52 years when the Cavaliers won the NBA title, and the Cleveland Indians are in the midst of a team-record 14-game winning streak.
Day makes his home in nearby Columbus, and he has his sights set on extending the wave of good fortune for those in the Buckeye State.
“The sports in this state are doing pretty well.
