ATLANTA – Jason Day, an Australian, isn’t necessarily rooting for either side in next week’s Ryder Cup, but he certainly has an interest.
On Wednesday at the Tour Championship, Day said he considered flying to Hazeltine National to attend the matches as a fan and added that the Ryder Cup is the only tournament he will watch from start to finish.
“I get to watch the other players sweat, and I can sit on my couch and watch it, which is fantastic,” Day said.
