Jason Day sank a 43-foot eagle putt on the 18th hole to tie the lowest opening 36-hole hole total in PGA Tour history on Friday at the BMW Championship.
The reigning PGA Championship winner finished up his opening-round 61 in the morning, then went out and polished off a seven birdie, one eagle effort for a 63 in the afternoon at Conway Farms Golf Club.
