CARMEL, Ind. – Jason Day showed at the PGA Championship that he needed only one practice round to contend for a title.
He’s hoping for similar results this week at the BMW Championship, where he toured Crooked Stick on Wednesday afternoon for the first time.
“I wanted to make sure that I was more so rested than anything,” he said.
Day’s driving has been wayward in recent weeks, which he said has taken a toll mentally. The world No. 1 still managed a pair of top-15 finishes in the playoffs.
