Danny Lee leads WGC-Bridgestone Invitational after first-round 65

It took Danny Lee seemingly forever to notch his first PGA Tour victory. But after winning the Greenbrier Classic on July 2, Lee has contended nearly every time he's teed it up since.

He was T-3 at the John Deere Classic and T-4 at the Quicken Loans National. Now, he holds a one-shot lead after the first round of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club.

On a day where high numbers were frequent (last week's winner Troy Merrit shot 12-over 82 and only 21 of 77 players broke par), Lee made seven birdies as part of an opening 65.
