Thomas Detry shot a 5-under 67 to jump 13 spots into a tie for the lead after the second round of the 31st annual Louisiana Classic.
In his first event of 2016, Detry is hoping to pick up where he left off in 2015, a year in which he picked up two wins, a second place and for third place finishes.
Tied with Detry is Texas A&M’s Adria Arnaus, who is coming off a fifth place finish at the John Burns Intercollegiate two weeks ago.
Two Kansas Jayhawks, Ben Welle and Chase Hanna, and James Antiss, of Southeastern Louisiana, Zach Galliford, of UT Arlington and Sean Meehan of University of Texas San Antonio are one stroke back of the co-leaders.
