ORLANDO, Fla. – Thomas Strange lit up like a Christmas tree as he discussed his impending "bucket list" moment.
Earlier this year, the 33-year-old son of two-time U.S. Open champion, Curtis Strange, casually mentioned to PNC Father-Son Challenge tournament director Teo Sodeman that before he kicked the proverbial bucket, he wanted to play a round of golf with 18-time major champion Jack Nicklaus.
Well, the Father-Son isn’t held at Disney World, but it’s close enough. On Saturday, Dec. 12, Thomas’s dream will come true.
“I told him, ‘Have you seen the pairings?’ ” father said to son.
