Creamer withdrew Tuesday from the McKayson New Zealand Women’s Open with a lingering wrist injury, and Park may be out the rest of the LPGA season with a lingering back injury.
Creamer withdrew during the first round of the Evian Championship last week, with pain in her left wrist. She reported Tuesday in New Zealand that she has been diagnosed with intersection syndrome, an inflammation of the tendon.
“Basically, I need three, four weeks to heal, with no movement, no nothing,” Creamer said. “Basically, just little minor rehabs, ice and heat. I thought I could try and play this week, but, unfortunately, I can’t.
