PLAYA DEL CARMEN, Mexico – Russell Knox’s globetrotting campaign continues this week at the OHL Classic at Mayakoba.
Knox is the PGA Tour’s most well-traveled player of the new wraparound season, the only participant to tee it up in each of the first five weeks. All told, he has logged more than 22,000 miles in the air – and counting.
“I’m the only one crazy enough to do it,” Knox added.
This marathon stretch of travel wasn’t the plan for Knox, but he’s certainly not complaining. The 30-year-old snuck into the field at the WGC-HSBC Champions at the last minute, then went on to earn his maiden victory against an elite field.
