Springfield, N.J. - Emiliano Grillo continued a strong major campaign with an opening 4-under 66 at the PGA Championship, good enough for second place behind Jimmy Walker after the early wave on Day 1.
Grillo, who finished T-17 at the Masters and T-12 at The Open two weeks ago, credited “very tough conditions” at the RBC Canadian Open with being able to keep his form going now that the conditions were much more scoreable.
“The conditions are absolutely perfect. There's not a single grass out of place on this golf course.
