Oregon head coach Casey Martin said it best when summing up last week’s NCAA regional play: “It was pretty stressful.”
It’s a common view of the three days each May that decide a team’s national-championship fate. Several teams stepped up with everything on the line, making big moves on leaderboards at each of the six regional sites.
That said, some rounds stuck out more than others. These are my top 10 rounds from NCAA men’s regional play.
No. 10: Colorado opening 11-under 277 at the Noblesville Regional
The Buffaloes opened up an eight-shot lead after counting four scores in red numbers.
