WOBURN, England — Colin Montgomerie won the Travis Perkins Masters on Sunday to become the first player in European Senior Tour history to win one event three straght years.
The 52-year-old Montgomerie birdied the final hole for a 1-under 71 and beat fellow Scot Ross Drummond with an 18-foot birdie putt on the second hole of a playoff.
The 58-year-old Drummond finished with a 69 to match Montgomerie at 5-under 211 at Woburn Golf Club.
