C.J. Easley lives in Oxford, Miss., in the heart of Ole Miss country.
However, Easley, 15, won't be staying home to play his college golf. Instead, the Class of 2019 recruit has verbally committed to Auburn University.
"I feel Auburn is the best place for me to succeed as a person and a player," Easley told Golfweek shortly after committing on Nov. 23. "I immediately connected with Coach (Nick) Clinard and Coach (Corey) Maggard on my first visit with them. Their facilities are second to none. I believe that Auburn is one of the top schools in the country in academics and athletics.
