In on a sponsor's invite and trying to resurrect a lost 2015, Christina Kim is making the most of her opportunity at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational.
Even in pristine conditions on Friday, the Club de golf Mexico isn't yielding too many low scores this week, but Kim found one in a big way during the second round. The American posted a flawless 6-under 66 to jump 15 spots into a tie for second at 5 under.
Kim trails only Minjee Lee (6 under). And if it wasn't clear that this layout suited Kim last year when she won the tournament, she made it emphatic in her post-round comments on Friday.
