Sometimes you don't need to put on an insane performance to catch the leader. Sometimes, the leader will come back to you.
That was the case Saturday for S.S.P. Chawrasia at the Hero Indian Open.
Chawrasia posted a solid 68 in the third round of the Hero Indian Open, surging past 36-hole leader Terry Pilkadaris, who came in with a Saturday 73 at Delhi Golf Club. Chawrasia moved to 14 under, two ahead of Pilkadaris.
Chawrasia, the 37-year-old native son, lost in a playoff to Anirban Lahiri at this event last year and has overall been a runner up four times at the Indian Open.
