Huntzinger, a class-of-2015 Penn State signee, sits at 3-under 207 through 54 holes at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C., two shots clear of the field. He recovered from a double bogey at the par-5 15th, a hole he birdied twice in two previous rounds this week, with a birdie at the par-3 16th, holding on for an even-par 70 Thursday.
Philip Barbaree joins Huntzinger as one of two players under par at the event this week, reaching 1-under 209 after a third-round 68.
