On Thursday, the parent PGA Tour will introduce a three-event Champions Tour playoff system, sources told Golfweek. The series likely will debut in the Savannah, Ga., area before moving to the Country Club of Virginia’s James River Course in Richmond for the second event. The Dominion Charity Classic, a 54-man, 54-hole event, will feature a $2 million purse and be played Nov.
