IRVING, Texas – Bud Cauley spent the better part of 15 months watching. It was a hard 15 months.
Following surgery on his left shoulder to repair a torn labrum in September 2014, Cauley didn’t play at all last season and picked up his career this season playing on a medical extension.
But even that new beginning has been spotty, with two starts in November and three on the West Coast before the Wells Fargo Championship two weeks ago.
“It is tough, especially coming off an injury where I haven't played. To play a couple and then wait for a few weeks,” Cauley said.
