Already holding a share of the course record on the Stadium Course, Castro fired a bogey-free 62 to close the Web.com Tour Championship and add a piece of the course record on the Dye’s Valley Course.
Castro entered this week with his PGA Tour card already locked up, and after three straight rounds of even-par 70 he erupted for eight birdies in the final round of the season. The score moved the 30-year-old inside the top 15 and improved his priority rank for next season, which he will begin at the Frys.
