Last month, Pacific lost its men's golf coach after Chris Hill resigned. Now, it has lost one of its 2016 commits.
Casey Scott, a junior at Palm Desert (Calif.) High, decided to withdraw his commitment to Pacific and verbally commit to Wisconsin.
"After reviewing my options, the University of Wisconsin was definitely the right choice for me," Scott told Golfweek. "The university has state-of-the-art facilities and unlimited major and career options. Coaches (Michael) Burcin and (Robbie) Ziegler have developed a program that will allow us to be competitive in the Big Ten Conference. I'm looking forward to the entire college experience at Wisconsin.
