It's been a long time coming for the Canadian faithful.
But David Hearn can change things on Sunday, when he will play to become the first Canadian to win the RBC Canadian Open since 1954. Hearn took a two-shot lead over Bubba Watson and Jason Day with a 4-under 68 Saturday at Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, Ontario.
Hearn struck quickly, making birdie on the second hole en route to playing the front nine in 3-under 32. He reached 16 under with consecutive birdies at Nos. 15 and 16 before dropping back with a bogey at 17.
