Cali courses are ripping up their grass to save water

If you're planning on paying golf in California any time soon, make sure you bring your sand wedge.

As the Golden State faces one of the most severe droughts on record, with the governor even declaring it a state of emergency in January and issuing an executive order for people to reduce water consumption by 25 percent, golf courses, as we know and love them, are in serious danger.

According to the Associated Press report below, as part of a water rebate program, courses are ripping up perfectly fine grass, so that they don't have to take care of it anymore.
