UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. — It’s getting dangerous here at Chambers Bay, and we haven’t even arrived at the starting gate. Nor are we talking about bogeys and double-bogeys.
We’re talking braces and stretchers.
Caddies for Henrik Stenson (Gareth Lord) and Stephen Gallacher (Damian Moore) were injured Wednesday afternoon, within a half-hour of one another.
“It’s tricky out there. You’ve got to be careful,” Stenson said. “You see that yellow grass laying down, it’s dangerous.”
