Bubba Watson revealed he is dealing with a back injury and chose to rest the injury rather than play in the Arnold Palmer Invitational this week during an interview on Golf Channel’s “Morning Drive” Tuesday.
Watson said he injured his back during his third round at the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Trump National Doral.
Watson cited resting for The Masters, which he won in 2012 and 2014, as the reason he wasn’t going to play, despite an MRI revealing no major issues in his back.
“I wanted to just rest so I can be ready for Augusta.
