PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Bubba Watson’s beautiful mind – and game – was on full display for all to see this week at Riviera Country Club. There is no more unique character in golf than Watson, and he showed off many shades of his personality this week in winning the Northern Trust Open for the second time in three years.
Bubba wasn’t sure which was better: watching his three-year-old son Caleb slide down a stage with pop singer Justin Bieber, filming a TV cameo, catching the Golden State Warriors play courtside on Saturday evening, or erasing a two-stroke deficit with four holes to play to capture his ninth career PGA Tour title.
