Brooks Koepka could be staying in Ohio longer than expected – perhaps for another nine days.
Through 29 holes of this week’s Workday Charity Open, Koepka looked to be heading back home to South Florida early. He was 4 over and had just missed a short birdie try at Muirfield Village’s par-5 11th hole.
But Koepka suddenly flipped the switch, rattling off five birdies over his final seven holes Friday, his final one coming from long range at the par-4 18th to give himself a chance of sticking around for two more rounds at Jack’s Place.
“Yeah, I mean, that's what you've got to do,” Koepka said.
